What Was I Thinking?

There isn’t a single night that I don’t wake up with an idea, thought or concept for growing your practice. Usually around 2 A.M. to 3 A.M.

I learned early on that if I didn’t write it down immediately, I usually did not remember what woke me, when I started my day. Many times I would spend hours trying to recall the idea… only to be disappointed.

So, I purchased a diary and pen, placed it by my bed and then when my eyes popped open, I would grab the diary and pen, squint in the darkness and write down my thoughts. It worked.

The next morning, I would make it a habit to read my notes and then rewrite them so they were easier to read [often, even I had trouble reading my own writing!] and expand my thoughts before starting my day.

Over time, I collected a HUGE collections of random thoughts, ideas and awesome strategies and tactics for growing a business. It’s a curse… my mind never rests.

Now why should you continuing reading? Answer these two questions about yourself to find out:

“Do I want to finish the race, or do I want to win the race?”
“Do I want to play, or do I want to compete?”
